Recently, because of my fame from defeating Giygas, people have started swarming me, and one very interesting thing that they liked most about me was my amazing musical talent, which is exclusive because of its unique sound and because crazy people are in my band. Currently, my band is composed of Pickey for the bass, Apple Kid with trumpet, Frank Fly on the synthesizer and piano, Mr. T for the some vocals and odd things like the kazoo, Lier X. Aggerate with the base, and myself fitting in on Guitar and main vocals.
I should give you a brief history. We all met at the store looking for some good Frank Zappa music. Although we didn’t find any music, we formed our band. Originally, we did a lot of Frank Zappa, good stuff. Some of my favorite lyrics I got to sing in those days were “watch out where the huskies go; don’t you eat that yellow snow”and “she lives in Mohavi in a Winnebago… his name is Bobby; he looks like a potato.” Those were the days, and Zappa remains our largest influence. Mr. T then became interested in oriental music, so that got pulled in, and Picky couldn’t help being a Jimmy Hendrix with a bass. Frank brought in a hint of Shakespeare. And then we shot off. That is our music now.
It is very unique, but I am also getting scared that it is getting too popular. We may be starting to fall on the path to being generic. Luckily, I can keep it in line, and the guys are always finding new influences, so we are going to be knuckleballing: unpredictable. We will continue to pull in new things; we keep fresh. Reggae elements will be pulled in as well, but you can rest assured that you will still hear about the huskies. Did I mention we named our garage "Joe's Garage?" We took about five minutes to name it; it is where we record everything.
Anyhow, we will keep the rhythm rolling so that you all can enjoy it. I promise not to become generic, and we will always be changing, so be ready.
