Hello. I'm the Noble Warrior. I'm here to tell you of the intrigue and mystery of
the South Scaraba Desert, a place where few mortals have ever gone before. I'll
start off by saying only the most experienced exlporers have a chance of making it
here. If you are planning on coming here, be sure to buy some water from a merchant.
Water is scarce here, making natives who aren't used to the heat prone to sunstroke.
You must first cross the mystic pyramid, which few mortals have been able to enter.
It is ridden with traps for the unwary explorer. If you can make it out of the
pyramid alive, be prepared for a world of adventure. The desert is home to many
dangerous creatues. Dread Skelpions have potentialy dangerous and painful stings. If
you get stung, you'd better have serum, because there is not a hospitial for more
than one thousand miles. The Great Crested Bookas are very territorial and will
attack anything that moves to defend their territory. They are powerful creatures
that have
been known to kill humans. Also inhabiting the desert are Master Criminal Worms.
They normaly run at the sight of man, but when cornered, they will shoot fire at
thier oppressers, though scientists have yet to discover how this is achieved.
Flying saucers have been known to appear in this area, as well as stange,
octopus-shaped robots, but I don't know how they got here. As a land where few
humans have set foot, it is a beautiful place. If you are stupid enough to come
here, there are many ancient treasures that can be found buried underneath the
sand. I once found a key to a strange man-shaped tower near here. I believe ancient
civilization created this phenomena. It sounds strange, but the day after, the
tower had moved to another location! I could have gotten a lot of money from that
key, as you can from the ancient treasures here. So, have fun and brave the dangers
of the South Scaraba Desert!
